- 83:1 O God, do not keep silent; Do not be quiet, and do not be still, O God.

神阿，求你不要静默；神阿，求你不要闭口，也不要不作声；
- 83:2 For, behold, Your enemies are in tumult, And those who hate You lift up their heads.
-
因为看哪，你的仇敌喧嚷；恨你的抬起头来。
- 83:3 They devise crafty counsel against Your people, And conspire against Your hidden ones.
-
他们同谋奸诈要害你的百姓，彼此商议要害你所隐藏的人。
- 83:4 They have said, Come and let us destroy them from being a nation, That the name of Israel may no longer be remembered.

他们说，来罢，我们将他们除灭，使他们不再成国，使以色列的名不再被人记念。
- 83:5 For they have conspired together with one heart; It is against You that they have made an alliance:

他们同心商议，彼此结盟，要抵挡你；
- 83:6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagarites,

就是以东帐棚的人和以实玛利人，摩押人和夏甲人，
- 83:7 Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, Philistia along with the inhabitants of Tyre;

迦巴勒、亚扪和亚玛力，非利士同推罗的居民；
- 83:8 Assyria is also joined with them; They have been a help to the children of Lot.

- 83:11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, And all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

- 83:12 Who said, Let us possess for ourselves The habitations of God.

- 83:13 O my God, make them like a tumbleweed, Like stubble before the wind.

我的神阿，求你叫他们像随风滚转的草，像风前的碎秸。
- 83:14 Like fire that burns a forest And like a flame that sets mountains on fire,

火怎样焚烧树林，火焰怎样烧着山岭，
- 83:15 So pursue them with Your tempest, And terrify them with Your storm.

求你也照样用你的狂风追赶他们，用你的暴雨恐吓他们。
- 83:16 Fill their faces with shame, That they may seek Your name, O Jehovah.

耶和华阿，愿你使他们满面羞愧，好叫他们寻求你的名。
- 83:17 May they be ashamed and dismayed forever, And may they be confounded and perish;
-
愿他们永远羞愧惊惶，愿他们抱愧灭亡；
- 83:18 That they may know that You alone, whose name is Jehovah, Are the Most High over all the earth.

使他们知道惟独你名为耶和华的，是管理全地的至高者。
