  • 正直人的纯全必引导自己;奸诈人的乖僻必毁灭自己。
  • 11:4 Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death.
  • 忿怒的日子赀财无益;惟有公义能救人脱离死亡。
  • 11:5 The righteousness of the perfect man will make his way straight, But the wicked man will fall by his own wickedness.
  • 完全人的义必使他的道路平直;但恶人必因自己的恶跌倒。
  • 11:6 The righteousness of the upright will deliver them, But the treacherous will be taken in their own craving.
  • 正直人的义必拯救自己;奸诈人必陷在自己的贪欲中。
  • 11:7 When a wicked man dies, his expectation will perish; And the hope of the strong perishes.
  • 恶人一死,他的指望必灭绝;罪人的盼望也必灭没。
  • 11:8 The righteous man is delivered out of trouble, And the wicked man comes into it instead of him.
  • 义人得拯救脱离患难,有恶人来代替他。
  • 11:9 With his mouth the profane man destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.
  • 不虔敬的人用口败坏邻舍;义人却因知识得救。
  • 11:10 When it goes well with the righteous, the city exults; And when the wicked perish, there is a ringing shout.
  • 义人得福,合城欢欣;恶人灭亡,人都欢呼。
  • 11:11 By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted, But it is torn down by the mouth of the wicked.
  • 因正直人祝福,城得高举;因邪恶人的口,城就倾覆。
  • 11:12 He who despises his neighbor lacks sense, But a man of understanding keeps silent.
  • 藐视邻舍的乃为无知,聪明人却静默不言。
  • 11:13 He who goes about as a gossip reveals secrets, But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.
  • 往来搬弄是非的,泄漏秘密;灵里忠信的,遮隐事情。
  • 11:14 Where no sound counsel is, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
  • 无智谋,民就败落;谋士多,民就安全。
  • 11:15 He who is surety for a stranger will surely be troubled, But he who hates giving pledges is secure.
  • 为生人作保的,必受亏损;恨恶担保的,却得安稳。
  • 11:16 A gracious woman lays hold of honor, And violent men lay hold of riches.
  • 恩德的妇女取得尊荣;强暴的男子取得赀财。
  • 11:17 The merciful man rewards his own soul, But the cruel troubles his own flesh.
  • 仁慈的人赏报己魂;残忍的人扰害己身。
  • 11:18 The wicked man earns deceitful wages, But he who sows righteousness gets a true reward.
  • 恶人赚得虚谎的工价;播种公义的,得真实的酬报。
  • 11:19 He who is steadfast in righteousness shall attain to life, And he who pursues evil advances to his own death.
  • 恒心为义的,必得生命;追求邪恶的,必致死亡。
  • 11:20 Those who are perverse in heart are an abomination to Jehovah, But those who are perfect in their way are His delight.
  • 心中乖僻的,为耶和华所憎恶;行径完全的,为祂所喜悦。
  • 11:21 Be assured: The evil man will not go unpunished; But the seed of the righteous will be delivered.
  • 你要确信,恶人必不免受罚;义人的后裔必得拯救。
  • 11:22 Like a nose-ring of gold in a pig's snout, So is a beautiful woman who is without discretion.
  • 妇女美貌而无见识,如同金环戴在猪鼻上。
  • 11:23 The desire of the righteous is only good, But the expectation of the wicked is wrath.
  • 义人的愿望尽是美好;恶人的指望遭致忿怒。
  • 11:24 There is one who scatters and increases yet more, And there is one who withholds what is appropriate but ends up only in want.
  • 有人施散,却更增添;有人吝惜过度,反致穷乏。
  • 11:25 The blessing soul will prosper, And he who waters will also be watered himself.
  • 好施舍的,必得丰裕;滋润人的,必得滋润。
  • 11:26 As for him who withholds grain, the people will curse him; But blessing will be upon the head of him who sells it.
  • 屯积粮谷的,民必咒诅他;出卖粮谷的,祝福必临到他头上。
  • 11:27 He who diligently seeks good seeks favor; But as for him who searches after evil, it will come to him.
  • 殷切求善的,就求得恩惠;惟独求恶的,恶必临到他身。
  • 11:28 He who trusts in his riches will fall, But the righteous will flourish like the green leaf.
  • 倚仗自己财物的必败落;但义人必发旺如青叶。
  • 11:29 He who troubles his own house will inherit the wind, And a fool will be servant to the wise in heart.
  • 扰害己家的,必承受清风;愚妄人必作心中有智慧之人的仆人。
  • 11:30 The fruit of the righteous man is a tree of life, And he who is wise wins souls.
  • 义人所结的果子是生命树;有智慧的,必能得人。
  • 11:31 If the righteous man will be recompensed on the earth, How much more the wicked man and the sinner!
  • 义人在世尚且受报,恶人和罪人更是如此!
