大卫的训诲诗，交与歌咏长；用丝弦的乐器。
- 55:1 Give ear, O God, to my prayer; And do not hide Yourself from my supplication.
-
神阿，求你侧耳听我的祷告；不要隐藏不听我的恳求。
- 55:2 Give heed to me, and answer me. I grow restless in my complaint and moan,
-
求你垂听我，应允我。我哀叹不安，发声唉哼，
- 55:3 Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked man; For they drop iniquity upon me, And in anger they make me their enemy.
-
都因仇敌的声音，恶人的欺压；因为他们使祸患落在我身上，发怒气以我为敌。
- 55:4 My heart writhes within me, And the terrors of death have fallen upon me.
-
我的心在我里面绞痛，死的惊惶落在我身上。
- 55:5 Fear and trembling have come upon me, And shuddering overwhelms me.
-
恐惧战兢临到我，惊恐漫过了我。
- 55:6 And I say, Oh that I had wings like a dove! Then I would fly away and be at rest.
-
我说，但愿我有翅膀像鸽子，我就飞去，得以栖息。
- 55:7 Indeed I would wander far away; I would lodge in the wilderness.

我必远游，宿在旷野。 细拉
- 55:8 I would hasten my escape From the storm wind and the tempest.

我必速速逃走，脱离狂风暴雨。
- 55:9 Confuse, O Lord, divide their tongue; For I have seen violence and contention in the city.

主阿，求你使他们混乱，意见分歧；因为我在城中看见了强暴和争竞的事。
- 55:10 Day and night they go around it, Upon its walls; And iniquity and trouble are in the midst of it.
-
他们在城墙上昼夜绕行；在城内有罪孽和患难。
- 55:11 Utter ruin is in the midst of it, And oppression and deceit Do not depart from its streets.
-
城内也有毁坏人的事，欺压和诡诈不离其街市。
- 55:12 For it is not an enemy who reproaches me; Otherwise I could bear it. It is not he who hates me who magnifies himself against me; Otherwise I could hide myself from him.

原来不是仇敌辱骂我；若是仇敌，还可忍耐。也不是恨我的人向我夸大；若是恨我的人，还可躲避他。
- 55:13 But it is you, my equal, My close friend and my acquaintance.
-
不料是你，你原与我平等，是我的密友，是我的知己。
- 55:14 We were in sweet counsel together; We walked with the throng in the house of God.
-
我们素常甜蜜的交谈；我们与群众在神的殿中同行。
- 55:15 Let death surprise them; May they go down into Sheol alive. For evil is in their dwelling, in the midst of them.
-
愿死亡忽然临到他们；愿他们活活的下入阴间；因为在他们的住处，在他们中间，都是邪恶。
- 55:16 As for me, I call out to God, And Jehovah will save me.
-
至于我，我要呼求神，耶和华必拯救我。
- 55:17 Evening and morning and at noontime I complain and moan, And He hears my voice.
-
我要在晚上、早晨、晌午，哀怨悲叹，祂必听我的声音。
- 55:18 He has redeemed my soul in peace From the battle against me, For many are they who strive with me.
-
祂救赎我命脱离攻击我的人，使我得享平安，因为与我相争的人甚多。
- 55:19 God hears and answers them-Even He who sits enthroned from of old-Because with them there is no change, And they do not fear God.
-
那从亘古坐在宝座上的神，必听见而苦待他们－细拉 因为他们没有改变，也不敬畏神。
- 55:20 He put forth his hands against those who were at peace with him; He profaned his covenant.
-
他伸手攻击与他和好的人；他违犯自己的约。
- 55:21 Smooth were the buttery words of his mouth, But his heart was war; More soothing than oil were his words, But they were in fact drawn swords.
-
他的口如奶油光滑，他的心却怀着争战；他的话比油柔和，其实是拔出来的刀。
- 55:22 Cast your burden upon Jehovah, And He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
-
你要把你的重担卸给耶和华，祂必扶持你；祂永不叫义人动摇。
- 55:23 But You, O God, will bring them down Into the lowest pit. Men of bloodshed and deceit Will not live out half their days; But I will trust in You.
-
神阿，你必使那些人下入朽坏的坑。流人血行诡诈的人，必活不到半世；但我要信靠你。
