- 5:1 I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, O friends; Drink, and drink deeply, O beloved ones!

- 5:3 I have put off my garment; How can I put it on again? I have washed my feet; How can I dirty them again?

- 5:4 My beloved put his hand into the opening of the door, And my inner parts yearned for him.

我的良人从门孔里伸进手来,我便因他动了心肠。
- 5:5 I rose up to open to my beloved; And my hands dripped with myrrh, My fingers with liquid myrrh, Upon the handles of the bolt.

我起来,要给我良人开门;我的两手滴下没药,我的指头有没药汁滴在闩把上。
- 5:6 I opened to my beloved, But my beloved had withdrawn; he was gone. My soul failed when he spoke; I sought him, but found him not; I called him-he answered me not.

我给我的良人开了门;我的良人却已转身走了。他说话的时候,我魂不守舍;我寻找他,竟寻不见;我呼叫他,他却不回答。
- 5:7 The watchmen who go about the city found me. They struck me; they wounded me; The keepers of the walls took my veil from me.

城中巡逻看守的人遇见我,打了我,伤了我;看守城墙的人夺去我的帕子。
- 5:8 I adjure, O daughters of Jerusalem, If you find my beloved, What shall you tell him? That I am sick with love.

耶路撒冷的众女子阿,我郑重的嘱咐你们,若遇见我的良人,要告诉他什么呢?要告诉他,我因爱成病。
- 5:9 What is your beloved more than some other's beloved, O you most beautiful among women? What is your beloved more than some other's beloved, That you adjure us so?

你这女子中极美丽的,你的良人比别人的良人有何强处?你的良人比别人的良人有何强处,你就这样郑重的嘱咐我们?
- 5:10 My beloved is dazzling white yet ruddy, Distinguished among ten thousand.

我的良人白而且红,超乎万人之上。
- 5:11 His head is the finest gold; His locks are wavy, As black as a raven.

他的头像至精的金子;他的头发鬈曲,黑如乌鸦。
- 5:12 His eyes are like doves Beside the streams of water, Bathed in milk, Fitly set.

他的眼如溪水旁的鸽子,在奶中洗净,安得合式。
- 5:13 His cheeks are like a bed of spices, Mounds of sweetly fragrant herbs; His lips are lilies, Dripping with liquid myrrh.

他的两腮如香花畦,如香草台;他的嘴唇像百合花,滴下没药汁。
- 5:14 His hands are tubes of gold, Set with beryl; His belly is an ivory work, Overlaid with sapphires.

他的两手好像金管,镶嵌水苍玉;他的肚腹如同象牙作的,外面包着蓝宝石。
- 5:15 His legs are pillars of white marble, Set upon bases of gold; His appearance is like Lebanon, As excellent as the cedars.

他的两腿好像白玉石柱,安在金座上;他的形状如利巴嫩,佳美如香柏树。
- 5:16 His mouth is sweetness itself, And he is altogether desirable. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.
