- 14:1 At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam became ill.

那时，耶罗波安的儿子亚比雅病了。
- 14:2 And Jeroboam said to his wife, Rise up now, and disguise yourself so that no one will recognize that you are the wife of Jeroboam, and go to Shiloh. Ahijah the prophet is there; it is he who spoke concerning me, that I should be king over this people.

耶罗波安对他的妻子说，你起来改装，使人不知道你是耶罗波安的妻子，往示罗去；在那里有申言者亚希雅，他曾说到我必作这民的王。
- 14:3 And take in your hand ten loaves and some cakes and a cruse of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will happen to the boy.

现在你要手中带着十个饼、一些饼干、和一瓶蜜去见他，他必告诉你这童子将要怎样。
- 14:4 And Jeroboam's wife did so; that is, she rose up and went to Shiloh, and she came to the house of Ahijah. Now Ahijah could not see, for his eyes were fixed because of his age.

耶罗波安的妻子就这样行，起身往示罗去，到了亚希雅的家。亚希雅因年纪老迈，眼目发直，不能看见。
- 14:5 But Jehovah said to Ahijah, The wife of Jeroboam has now come to seek a word from you concerning her son, for he is ill. Thus and thus shall you speak to her. And it will be that when she comes in, she will pretend to be another woman.

但耶和华先对亚希雅说，看哪，耶罗波安的妻子要来，为她的儿子向你求话，因她儿子病了；你当如此如此告诉她。她进来的时候必装作别的妇人。
- 14:6 So when Ahijah heard the sound of her footsteps as she entered through the door, he said, Come in, wife of Jeroboam. Why do you pretend to be another woman? For I have a hard message for you.

她刚进门口，亚希雅听见她脚步的响声，就说，耶罗波安的妻子，进来罢。你为何装作别的妇人呢？我奉差遣将严厉的话告诉你。
- 14:7 Go and tell Jeroboam, Thus says Jehovah the God of Israel, Because I exalted you from among the people and made you ruler over My people Israel,

你去告诉耶罗波安，耶和华以色列的神如此说，我从民中将你高举，立你作我民以色列的领袖，
- 14:8 And I tore away the kingdom from the house of David and gave it to you; and yet you have not been like My servant David, who kept My commandments and who followed Me with all his heart, doing only what was upright in My sight,

将国从大卫家撕去赐给你；你却不像我仆人大卫那样，遵守我的诫命，全心跟从我，只行我眼中看为正的事，
- 14:9 But you have done more evil than all who were before you and have gone and made for yourself other gods and idols, so as to provoke Me to anger; and you have cast Me behind your back -

反倒行恶，比那些在你以先的更甚，又去为自己造了别神，铸了偶像，惹我发怒，将我丢在背后。
- 14:10 Because of this then, I am now bringing evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and I will cut off from Jeroboam every male, bond and free, in Israel; and I will sweep up after the house of Jeroboam as a man might sweep up dung until it is all gone.

因此，我必使灾祸临到耶罗波安的家，将属耶罗波安的男丁，无论困住的、自由的，都从以色列中剪除；我必除灭耶罗波安家的后代，如人烧掉粪土，直到烧尽一般。
- 14:11 Him of Jeroboam's who dies in the city, the dogs will eat; and him who dies in the field, the birds of heaven will eat; for Jehovah has spoken it.

凡属耶罗波安的人，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在田野的必被空中的鸟吃；这是耶和华说的。
- 14:12 Rise up then, and go to your house: When your feet enter the city, the child will die.
-
所以你起身往你家去罢；你的脚一进城，你的孩子就必死了。
- 14:13 And all Israel will mourn for him and bury him, for he alone of Jeroboam's will go into the grave, because in him some good thing toward Jehovah the God of Israel was found among the house of Jeroboam.

以色列众人必为他哀哭，将他葬埋；凡属耶罗波安的人，惟有他得入坟墓，因为在耶罗波安的家中，只见他对耶和华以色列的神有可悦之处。
- 14:14 And Jehovah will raise up for Himself a king over Israel who will cut off the house of Jeroboam this day and even now.

耶和华必为自己兴起一王治理以色列；就在今日，甚至就是现在，他必剪除耶罗波安的家。
- 14:15 And Jehovah will strike Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water; and He will uproot Israel out of this good land, which He gave to their fathers, and will scatter them beyond the River, because they made their Asherahs, provoking Jehovah to anger.

耶和华必击打以色列人，使他们摇动，像水中的芦苇一般；又将以色列人从耶和华赐给他们列祖的这美地上拔出来，分散在大河那边，因为他们作木像，惹耶和华发怒。
- 14:16 And He will give Israel up on account of the sins of Jeroboam, by which he sinned and by which he caused Israel to sin.

因耶罗波安所犯、并使以色列人犯罪的罪，耶和华必将以色列人丢弃。
- 14:17 And Jeroboam's wife rose up and departed, and she came to Tirzah. As she came to the threshold of the house, the boy died.

耶罗波安的妻子起身离去，到了得撒，刚到家的门槛，童子就死了。
- 14:18 And all Israel buried him and mourned for him according to the word of Jehovah, which He spoke through His servant Ahijah the prophet.
-
以色列众人将他葬埋，为他哀哭，正如耶和华藉他仆人申言者亚希雅所说的话。
- 14:19 And the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, how he waged war and how he reigned, they are there written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

耶罗波安其余的事，他怎样争战，怎样作王，都写在以色列诸王记上。
- 14:20 And the time that Jeroboam reigned was twenty-two years; and he slept with his fathers. And Nadab his son reigned in his place.
-
耶罗波安作王的年日有二十二年；他就与他列祖同睡。他儿子拿答接续他作王。
- 14:21 And Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty- one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city where Jehovah had chosen, out of all the tribes of Israel, to put His name. And his mother's name was Naamah the Ammonitess.

所罗门的儿子罗波安作犹大王。他登基的时候年四十一岁，在耶路撒冷，就是耶和华从以色列众支派中所选择立祂名的城，作王十七年。罗波安的母亲名叫拿玛，是亚扪人。
- 14:22 And Judah did what was evil in the sight of Jehovah and provoked Him to jealousy because of the sins which they committed, above all the sins which their fathers had committed.

犹大人行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，因他们所犯的罪，触动祂的妒忌，比他们列祖所行的一切更甚。
- 14:23 And they also built for themselves high places and pillars and Asherahs on every high hill and under every flourishing tree,
-
他们也在各高冈上，各青翠树下，为自己筑邱坛，立柱像和木像。
- 14:24 And there were also male cult prostitutes in the land. They acted according to all the abominations of the nations that Jehovah had dispossessed before the children of Israel.
-
犹大地也有娈童。犹大人照着耶和华在以色列人面前所赶出之外邦人一切可憎恶的事而行。
- 14:25 Then in the fifth year of King Rehoboam, Shishak the king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem.

罗波安王第五年，埃及王示撒上来攻打耶路撒冷，
- 14:26 And he took away the treasures of the house of Jehovah and the treasures of the king's house; indeed he took away all. And he took away all the shields of gold that Solomon had made.
-
夺取耶和华殿和王宫里的宝物，尽都夺走了；又夺去所罗门制造的一切金盾牌。
- 14:27 And King Rehoboam made shields of bronze in their place and committed them into the hands of the captains of the guard, who kept the door of the king's house.
-
罗波安王制造铜盾牌代替那些金盾牌，交在看守王宫门的护卫长手中保管。
- 14:28 And whenever the king went into the house of Jehovah, the guards carried them and returned them to the guardroom.
-
王每逢进耶和华的殿，护卫兵就拿这些盾牌，随后仍将盾牌送回护卫房里。
- 14:29 And the rest of the acts of Rehoboam and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
-
罗波安其余的事，凡他所行的，岂不都写在犹大诸王记上么？
- 14:30 And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually.
-
罗波安与耶罗波安之间常有争战。
- 14:31 And Rehoboam slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And his mother's name was Naamah the Ammonitess. And Abijam his son reigned in his place.
-
罗波安与他列祖同睡，与他列祖一同葬在大卫城里。他母亲名叫拿玛，是亚扪人。他儿子亚比央接续他作王。
