- 5:1 For every high priest, being taken from among men, is established on behalf of men in the things pertaining to God that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.

凡从人间选取的大祭司，都是被设立替人办理关于神的事，为要献上礼物和为着罪的祭物。
- 5:2 He is able to exercise compassion toward the ignorant and erring since he also is encompassed with weakness;

他能体谅那无知和失迷的，因为他自己也为软弱所困；
- 5:3 And because of it, he ought, even as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

因此，他怎样为百姓为着罪献祭，也应当照样为自己献祭。
- 5:4 And no one takes the honor upon himself, but only as he is called by God, just as Aaron also was.

这大祭司的尊贵，不是人自取的，乃是人蒙神呼召所得的，像亚伦一样。
- 5:5 So also Christ did not glorify Himself in becoming a High Priest, but it was He who said to Him, "You are My Son; this day have I begotten You";

这样，基督也不是自取荣耀作大祭司，乃是那向祂说“你是我的儿子，我今日生了你”的，荣耀了祂；
- 5:6 Even as also in another place He says, "You are a Priest forever according to the order of Melchisedec."

就如神在另一处又说，“你是照着麦基洗德的等次，永远为祭司。”
- 5:7 This One, in the days of His flesh, having offered up both petitions and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him who was able to save Him out of death and having been heard because of His piety,

基督在肉身的日子，强烈的哭号，流泪向那能救祂出死的，献上祈祷和恳求，因祂的虔诚，就蒙了垂听；
- 5:8 Even though He was a Son, learned obedience from the things which He suffered.

祂虽然为儿子，还是因所受的苦难学了顺从；
- 5:9 And having been perfected, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation,
-
祂既得以成全，就对凡顺从祂的人，成了永远救恩的根源，
- 5:10 Being addressed by God as a High Priest according to the order of Melchisedec;

蒙神照着麦基洗德的等次，称为大祭司。
- 5:11 Concerning whom we have much to say that is also difficult to interpret since you have become dull of hearing.

关于麦基洗德，我们有许多话要说，且是难以解明的，因为你们听觉迟钝。
- 5:12 For when because of the time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you what the rudiments of the beginning of the oracles of God are and have become those who have need of milk and not of solid food.

按时间说，你们该作教师；可是你们还需要有人将神谕言开端的要纲教导你们；并且成了那必须用奶，不能吃干粮的人。
- 5:13 For everyone who partakes of milk is inexperienced in the word of righteousness, for he is an infant;

凡只能享用奶的，对公义的话都是没有经验的，因为他是婴孩；
- 5:14 But solid food is for the full-grown, who because of practice have their faculties exercised for discriminating between both good and evil.

只有长成的人，才能吃干粮，他们的官能因习用而受了操练，就能分辨好坏了。
