- 16:1 And the lot for the children of Joseph went from the Jordan at Jericho, east of the waters of Jericho, to the wilderness, going up from Jericho into the hill country to Bethel,

约瑟的子孙拈阄所得之地，是从靠近耶利哥的约但河，耶利哥水泉的东边起，直到旷野，从耶利哥上去，通过山地到伯特利；
- 16:2 And went from Bethel to Luz, and passed on to the border of the Archites at Ataroth,
-
又从伯特利到路斯，接连到亚基人的境界亚他绿那里；
- 16:3 And went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Lower Beth-horon and to Gezer; and its end was the sea.

又往西下到押利提人的境界，到下伯和仑的境界，直到基色，通到海为止。
- 16:4 And the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, received their inheritance.

约瑟的儿子玛拿西和以法莲就得了他们的地业。
- 16:5 And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: The border for their inheritance on the east was from Ataroth-addar to Upper Beth-horon;

以法莲子孙的境界，按着家族所得的，记在下面：他们地业的东界是从亚他绿亚达到上伯和仑；
- 16:6 And the border went to the sea. On the north was Michmethath, and the border went around eastward to Taanath- shiloh, and passed by it to the east of Janoah,

直通到海。北界是密米他，又向东绕到他纳示罗，经过他纳示罗到雅挪哈的东边；
- 16:7 And went down from Janoah to Ataroth, then to Naarah, and reached Jericho, and went to the Jordan.

从雅挪哈下到亚他绿，又到拿拉，达到耶利哥，通到约但河；
- 16:8 From Tappuah the border went westward to the brook of Kanah; and its end was the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families,

从他普亚往西，到加拿河，直通到海为止。这就是以法莲子孙支派按着家族所得的地业；
- 16:9 Together with the cities that were set apart for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

另外在玛拿西子孙的地业中，还有些城邑和属这一切城邑的村庄，是分出来给以法莲子孙的。
- 16:10 Yet they did not dispossess the Canaanites who dwelt in Gezer, but the Canaanites dwell in the midst of Ephraim to this day and have become forced labor.

他们没有赶出住基色的迦南人；迦南人仍住在以法莲人中间，成为服苦役的人，直到今日。
