• 17:1　And this was the lot for the tribe of Manasseh, for he was Joseph's firstborn. To Machir, the firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead, Gilead and Bashan had been given, since he was a man of war.
  • 玛拿西是约瑟的长子，他的支派拈阄所得之地记在下面。玛拿西的长子，基列之父玛吉，因为是战士就得了基列和巴珊。
  • 17:2　Therefore the lot was for the rest of the children of Manasseh according to their families: for the children of Abiezer and for the children of Helek and for the children of Asriel and for the children of Shechem and for the children of Hepher and for the children of Shemida; these were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph according to their families.
  • 玛拿西其余的子孙，按着家族拈阄分地，就是亚比以谢的子孙，希勒的子孙，亚斯列的子孙，示剑的子孙，希弗的子孙，示米大的子孙；这些按着家族，都是约瑟儿子玛拿西子孙中的男丁。
  • 17:3　But Zelophehad the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters. And these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
  • 玛拿西的玄孙，玛吉的曾孙，基列的孙子，希弗的儿子西罗非哈没有儿子，只有女儿。他的女儿名叫玛拉、挪阿、曷拉、密迦、得撒；
  • 17:4　And they came before Eleazar the priest and before Joshua the son of Nun and before the leaders, saying, Jehovah commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brothers. Therefore he gave them an inheritance among their father's brothers according to the commandment of Jehovah.
  • 她们来到祭司以利亚撒和嫩的儿子约书亚并众首领面前，说，耶和华曾吩咐摩西在我们弟兄中给我们产业。于是约书亚照耶和华所吩咐的，在她们伯叔中，把产业给了她们。
  • 17:5　And ten portions fell to Manasseh, besides the land of Gilead and Bashan, which is across the Jordan,
  • 除了约但河东的基列和巴珊地之外，还有十分地归玛拿西，
  • 17:6　Because the daughters of Manasseh received an inheritance among his sons. And the land of Gilead belonged to the rest of the children of Manasseh.
  • 因为玛拿西的孙女们在玛拿西的子孙中得了产业。基列地是属玛拿西其余的子孙。
  • 17:7　And the border of Manasseh was from Asher to Michmethath, which was opposite Shechem; and the border went south to the inhabitants of En-tappuah.
  • 玛拿西的境界，是从亚设到示剑前的密米他，往南到隐他普亚的居民那里。
  • 17:8　The land of Tappuah belonged to Manasseh, but Tappuah, on the border of Manasseh, belonged to the children of Ephraim.
  • 他普亚地归玛拿西，只是玛拿西边界上的他普亚城归以法莲的子孙。
  • 17:9　And the border went down to the brook of Kanah. These cities to the south of the brook belonged to Ephraim, among the cities of Manasseh; and the border of Manasseh was to the north of the brook, and its end was the sea.
  • 玛拿西的境界又下到加拿河。在玛拿西的城邑中，河南边的这些城邑都归以法莲。玛拿西的地界是在河的北边，直通到海为止；
  • 17:10　To the south was Ephraim's, and to the north was Manasseh's, and the sea was his border. And they touched Asher on the north and Issachar on the east.
  • 南归以法莲，北归玛拿西，以海为界；北边与亚设相接，东边与以萨迦相接。
  • 17:11　And to Manasseh there belonged in Issachar and Asher, Beth-shean and its towns, and Ibleam and its towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of En-dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and its towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns (the third is Napheth).
  • 玛拿西在以萨迦和亚设境内，有伯善和属伯善的乡镇，以伯莲和属以伯莲的乡镇，多珥的居民和属多珥的乡镇，隐多珥的居民和属隐多珥的乡镇，他纳的居民和属他纳的乡镇，米吉多的居民和属米吉多的乡镇。(以上第三个城是拿法。)
  • 17:12　Yet the children of Manasseh could not dispossess these cities, but the Canaanites persisted in dwelling in this land.
  • 只是玛拿西的子孙不能赶出这些城的居民，迦南人执意住在那地。
  • 17:13　And when the children of Israel became strong, they made the Canaanites forced labor; but they did not utterly dispossess them.
  • 及至以色列人强盛了，就使迦南人服苦役，没有把他们全然赶出。
  • 17:14　Then the children of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying, Why have you given me an inheritance of only one lot and one portion, although I am still a numerous people, whom Jehovah has thus far blessed?
  • 约瑟的子孙对约书亚说，耶和华到如今既然赐福与我们，我们也族大人多，你为什么仅仅将一阄一分之地给我们为业呢？
  • 17:15　And Joshua said to them, If you are a numerous people, go up to the forest, and cut out land there for yourself in the land of the Perizzites and the Rephaim; since the hill country of Ephraim is too narrow for you.
  • 约书亚说，你们如果族大人多，嫌以法莲山地窄小，就可以上到森林去，在比利洗人和利乏音人之地为自己开出地来。
  • 17:16　And the children of Joseph said, The hill country is not enough for us; and all the Canaanites who dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both those of Beth-shean and its towns and those in the Valley of Jezreel.
  • 约瑟的子孙说，那山地容不下我们，并且所有住山谷之地的迦南人，就是住伯善和属伯善的乡镇，并住耶斯列谷的人，都有铁车。
  • 17:17　And Joshua spoke to the house of Joseph, to Ephraim and Manasseh, saying, You are a numerous people, and you have great strength; you shall not have one lot only,
  • 约书亚对约瑟家，就是以法莲和玛拿西人说，你族大人多，势力强大，不可仅有一阄之地，
  • 17:18　But the hill country shall be yours. Though it is a forest, you shall cut it down, and its end will be yours; for you shall dispossess the Canaanites, though they have chariots of iron and though they are strong.
  • 山地也要归你；虽是森林，你也可以开出地来，山地的尽边必归你。迦南人虽有铁车，虽是强盛，你也能把他们赶出去。
