- 10:1 And the Philistines fought against Israel, and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines and fell down slain on Mount Gilboa.

非利士人攻打以色列人，以色列人在非利士人面前逃跑，在基利波山有被杀仆倒的。
- 10:2 And the Philistines chased Saul and his sons; and the Philistines struck down Jonathan and Abinadab and Malchi-shua, Saul's sons.

非利士人紧追扫罗和他儿子们，击杀了扫罗的儿子约拿单、亚比拿达、麦基舒亚。
- 10:3 And the battle bore heavily against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was wounded by the archers.

扫罗遭受猛烈攻击，他被弓箭手射中，受伤甚重，
- 10:4 Then Saul said to his armor bearer, Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armor bearer would not, for he was very afraid. So Saul took his sword and fell on it.

就吩咐拿他兵器的人说，你拔出刀来，将我刺死，免得这些未受割礼的人来凌辱我。但拿兵器的人甚惧怕，不肯刺他；扫罗就把刀拿来，伏在刀上死了。
- 10:5 And when his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell on his sword and died.

拿兵器的人见扫罗已死，也伏在刀上死了。
- 10:6 So Saul and his three sons died, and all his house died together.

这样，扫罗和他三个儿子，并他的全家，都一同死亡。
- 10:7 And when all the men of Israel who were in the valley saw that they had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook their cities and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.

在山谷的以色列众人见以色列军兵逃跑，扫罗和他儿子们都死了，也就弃城逃跑；非利士人便来住在其中。
- 10:8 And the next day the Philistines came to strip the slain, and they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.

次日，非利士人来剥那些被杀之人的衣服，发现扫罗和他儿子们仆倒在基利波山，
- 10:9 And they stripped him and took his head and his armor, and they sent them all around, throughout the land of the Philistines in order to announce the good news to their idols and to the people.

就剥了他的衣服，取了他的首级和军装，打发人送到非利士人之地的四境，向他们的偶像和非利士民众传报好消息；
- 10:10 And they put his armor in the house of their gods, and they fastened his head in the house of Dagon.

又将扫罗的军装放在他们神的庙里，将他的首级钉在大衮庙中。
- 10:11 And when all Jabesh-gilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,
-
基列雅比众人听见非利士人向扫罗所行的一切事，
- 10:12 All the valiant men rose up and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons; and they brought them to Jabesh and buried their bones under the terebinth at Jabesh, and they fasted seven days.

他们中间所有的勇士就起身，将扫罗的尸身和他儿子的尸身收拾起来，送到雅比，将他们的骸骨葬在雅比的橡树下，并且禁食七日。
- 10:13 So Saul died on account of his unfaithfulness which he committed against Jehovah, because of the word of Jehovah which he did not keep, and also because he asked the counsel of a medium, inquiring of it.

这样，扫罗死了，因为他对耶和华不忠信，没有遵守耶和华的话，又因他求问交鬼的妇人，
- 10:14 And he did not inquire of Jehovah; therefore He killed him and turned the kingdom to David the son of Jesse.

没有求问耶和华；所以耶和华使他被杀，把国转给耶西的儿子大卫。
