- 24:1 Jehovah now makes the earth desolate and lays it waste; He distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants:
耶和华使地空虚，变为荒凉；又将地面扭曲，使居民分散。
- 24:2 As it is with the people, so will it be with the priest; As it is with the servant, so will it be with the master; As it is with the maid, so will it be with the mistress; As it is with the buyer, so will it be with the seller; As it is with the lender, so will it be with the borrower; As it is with the creditor, so will it be with him to whom he gives credit.
那时百姓怎样，祭司也怎样；仆人怎样，主人也怎样；婢女怎样，主母也怎样；买物的怎样，卖物的也怎样；放债的怎样，借债的也怎样；取利的怎样，出利的也怎样。
- 24:3 The earth will be utterly desolated And utterly spoiled, For Jehovah has spoken this word.
地必全然空虚，尽被掠夺，因为这话是耶和华说的。
- 24:4 The earth dries up and fades away; The world languishes and fades away; The exalted of the people of the earth languish.
地悲哀衰残，世界败落衰残，地上居高位的人也败落了。
- 24:5 And the earth is polluted under the weight of its inhabitants; For they have transgressed laws, they have violated statutes, They have broken an eternal covenant.
地被其上的居民污秽；因为他们犯了律法，废了律例，背了永约。
- 24:6 Therefore a curse devours the earth And the inhabitants of it are held guilty; Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, And few men are left.
所以咒诅将地吞灭，其上的居民显为有罪；因此，地上的居民被焚烧，剩下的人稀少。
- 24:7 The new wine mourns; the vine languishes; All the merryhearted sigh.
新酒悲哀，葡萄树衰残；心中欢乐的，俱都叹息。
- 24:8 The mirth of the tambourines ceases; The noise of those who exult stops; The mirth of the lyre ceases.
击鼓之乐止息，欢乐人的喧哗停顿，弹琴之乐也止息了。
- 24:9 Men do not drink wine in song; Liquor is bitter to those who drink it.
人必不得饮酒唱歌；喝浓酒的，必以为苦。
- 24:10 The city of chaos is broken down; Every house is shut up that none may enter.
荒废的城拆毁了；各家关门闭户，使人不得进去。
- 24:11 A cry for wine is in the streets; All joy is darkened; The mirth of the land is departed.
在街上有呼喊要酒的声音；一切的喜乐变为昏暗；地上的欢乐都离去了。
- 24:12 In the city desolation remains, And the gate is crushed to ruins.
城中只有荒凉，城门拆毁净尽。
- 24:13 For thus will it be in the midst of the earth, Among the peoples: Like the shaking of an olive tree, Like the gleanings when the grape harvest is completed.
在大地之间，万民之中必如此：像打过的橄榄树，又像已摘的葡萄所剩无几。
- 24:14 They will lift up their voice; they will give a ringing shout; Because of the majesty of Jehovah they will cry out from the west.
剩余的人要高声欢呼；他们要因耶和华的威严，从西边扬起声来。
- 24:15 Therefore in the east glorify Jehovah, Even the name of Jehovah the God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea.
因此你们要在东方荣耀耶和华，在众海岛荣耀耶和华以色列神的名。
- 24:16 From the ends of the earth we hear songs: Glory to the righteous One! But I say, Leanness to me! Leanness to me! Woe to me! The unfaithful deal unfaithfully! Indeed the unfaithful deal most unfaithfully!
我们听见从地极有歌声，说，荣耀归与那义者！我却说，我消瘦了！我消瘦了！我有祸了！诡诈的行诡诈！诡诈的大行诡诈！
- 24:17 Dread, pit, and snare Are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth.
地上的居民哪，恐惧、陷坑、网罗都临到你。
- 24:18 And he who flees from the sound of dread Will fall into the pit, And he who comes up out of the pit Will be taken in the snare; For the windows from on high are open, And the foundations of the earth shake.
躲避恐惧声音的必坠入陷坑，从陷坑上来的必被网罗缠住；因为高天的窗户都开了，地的根基也震动了。
- 24:19 The earth is broken asunder; The earth is split through and through; The earth is shaken violently.
地全然破坏，尽都崩裂，大大的震动了。
- 24:20 The earth staggers back and forth like a drunkard And sways about like a field hut. And its transgression weighs heavily upon it; It will fall and will not rise again.
地东倒西歪，好像醉酒的人；又摇来摇去，好像茅屋。地的罪过在其上沉重，必然塌陷，不能复起。
- 24:21 And in that day Jehovah will punish On high the host on high, And the kings of the earth on the earth.
到那日耶和华在高处必惩罚高处的众军，在地上必惩罚地上的列王。
- 24:22 And they will be gathered together, Like prisoners gathered in a dungeon; And will be shut up in prison, And after many days they will be punished.
他们必被聚集，像囚犯被聚在牢狱中，并要囚在监牢里，多日之后必被讨罪。
- 24:23 Then the moon will be abashed, and the sun will be ashamed; For Jehovah of hosts will reign In Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, And His glory will be before His elders.
那时月亮要蒙羞，日头要惭愧；因为万军之耶和华必在锡安山、在耶路撒冷作王，在祂的长老面前必有荣耀。
