- 21:1 And David went to Nob to Ahimelech the priest. And Ahimelech came trembling to meet David and said to him, Why are you alone, and no one with you?

大卫往挪伯去，到了祭司亚希米勒那里；亚希米勒战战兢兢的出来迎接他，对他说，你为什么独自来，没有人跟随呢？
- 21:2 And David said to Ahimelech the priest, The king has charged me with some matter, and he said to me, Let no man know anything about the matter that I have sent you on and charged you with. So I have made an appointment with my young men at such and such a place.

大卫对祭司亚希米勒说，王吩咐我一件事，说，我差遣你、吩咐你的这件事，不要使人知道。故此我已派定少年人在某处等候我。
- 21:3 Now then what do you have on hand? Give five loaves of bread into my hand, or whatever there is to be found.

现在你手下有什么？求你给我五个饼，或是别样找得着的食物。
- 21:4 And the priest answered David and said, There is no common bread on hand; yet there is holy bread, but only if the young men have kept themselves from women.

祭司回答大卫说，我手下没有平常的饼，只有圣饼；若少年人没有亲近妇人，才可以吃。
- 21:5 And David answered the priest and said to him, Women have indeed been kept from us, as previously when I went forth; and the vessels of the young men were holy, even if it was a common journey. How much more then today will their vessels be holy!

大卫回答祭司说，我们实在没有亲近妇人，我出征的时候，素来如此；即使是平常行路，少年人的器皿还是圣别的；何况今日，他们的器皿更是圣别的！
- 21:6 So the priest gave him what was holy, for there was no bread there except the bread of the Presence, which was taken from before Jehovah, to be replaced by hot bread at the time it was taken.

祭司就拿圣饼给他；因为在那里没有别的饼，只有陈设饼，是当时为了放上热的饼，从耶和华面前撤下来的。
- 21:7 Now one of Saul's servants was there that day, detained before Jehovah. His name was Doeg the Edomite, the chief of the shepherds that belonged to Saul.

当日有扫罗的一个臣仆在那里，留在耶和华面前。他名叫多益，是以东人，作扫罗的司牧长。
- 21:8 And David said to Ahimelech, And is there not a spear or a sword here on hand? For I have brought neither my sword nor my equipment with me, for the king's matter was urgent.

大卫对亚希米勒说，你手下这里有枪有刀没有？因为王的事甚急，我手里连刀剑器械都没有带。
- 21:9 And the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you struck down in the valley of Elah, is here, wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you will take it, take it; for there is no other here but that one. And David said, There is none like it; give it to me.

祭司说，你在以拉谷所打死的非利士人歌利亚，他的刀在这里，裹在布中，放在以弗得后边，你若要拿去给自己用，就拿去罢；除此以外，这里再没有别的。大卫说，这刀没有可比的；你给我罢。
- 21:10 Then David rose up and fled that day from before Saul, and he went to Achish the king of Gath.

那日大卫起来，从扫罗面前逃走，来到迦特王亚吉那里。
- 21:11 But the servants of Achish said to him, Is this not David the king of the land? Is this not him of whom they sang to one another in dances, saying, Saul has struck down his thousands; But David, his ten thousands?

亚吉的臣仆对亚吉说，这不是以色列地的王大卫么？那里的妇女跳舞唱和，不是指着他说，扫罗杀死千千，大卫杀死万万么？
- 21:12 And David took these words to heart and feared Achish the king of Gath greatly.

大卫将这些话放在心里，甚是惧怕迦特王亚吉，
- 21:13 So he disguised his sanity in their sight and acted like a madman before them, and he made marks on the doors of the gate and let his spittle run down his beard.

就在他们眼前改变了寻常的举动，在他们手下假装疯癫，在城门的门扇上胡写乱画，使唾沫流在胡子上。
- 21:14 And Achish said to his servants, Look, you see that the man is mad. Why have you brought him to me?
-
亚吉对臣仆说，你们看，这人是疯子。为什么带他到我这里来呢？
- 21:15 Do I lack madmen that you have brought this one to me to be a madman before me? Shall this one come into my house?
-
我岂缺少疯子，你们带这人来在我面前疯癫么？这人岂可进我的家呢？
