- 20:1 And God spoke all these words, saying,

神吩咐这一切的话说，
- 20:2 I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the slave house;
-
我是耶和华你的神，曾将你从埃及地，从为奴之家领出来。
- 20:3 You shall have no other gods before Me.
-
除我以外，你不可有别的神。
- 20:4 You shall not make for yourself an idol, nor the form of anything that is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water beneath the earth.
-
不可为自己雕制偶像，也不可雕制任何上天、下地、和地底下水中之物的像。
- 20:5 You shall not bow down to them, and you shall not serve them; for I, Jehovah your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
-
不可跪拜那些像，也不可事奉它们；因为我耶和华你的神是忌邪的神；恨我的，我必追讨他的罪孽，自父及子，直到三四代；
- 20:6 Yet showing lovingkindness to thousands of generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.
-
爱我、守我诫命的，我必向他们施慈爱，直到千代。
- 20:7 You shall not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain, for Jehovah will not hold guiltless him who takes His name in vain.
-
不可妄称耶和华你神的名；因为妄称耶和华名的，耶和华必不以他为无罪。
- 20:8 Remember the Sabbath day so as to sanctify it.
-
当记念安息日，将这日分别为圣。
- 20:9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
-
六日要劳碌作你一切的工，
- 20:10 But the seventh day is a Sabbath to Jehovah your God; you shall not do any work, you nor your son nor your daughter, your male servant nor your female servant, nor your cattle nor the sojourner with you, who is within your gates.
-
但第七日是向耶和华你神当守的安息日；这一日你和你的儿子、女儿、仆人、婢女、牲畜、并你城里的寄居者，无论何工都不可作；
- 20:11 For in six days Jehovah made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day and sanctified it.

因为六日之内，耶和华造天、地、海、和其中的万物，第七日便安息了；所以耶和华赐福与安息日，将这日分别为圣。
- 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be extended upon the land which Jehovah your God is giving you.
-
当孝敬父母，使你的日子在耶和华你神所赐你的地上，得以长久。
- 20:13 You shall not kill.
-
不可杀人。
- 20:14 You shall not commit adultery.
-
不可奸淫。
- 20:15 You shall not steal.
-
不可偷盗。
- 20:16 You shall not testify with false testimony against your neighbor.
-
不可作假见证陷害邻舍。
- 20:17 You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that belongs to your neighbor.
-
不可贪爱邻舍的房屋；也不可贪爱邻舍的妻子、仆人、婢女、牛、驴、并他一切所有的。
- 20:18 And all the people saw the thunder and the flashes of lightning and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood at a distance.

众百姓看见雷轰、闪电、角声、山上冒烟，就都颤抖，远远的站着，
- 20:19 And they said to Moses, You speak with us, and we will listen; but do not let God speak with us, so we do not die.
-
对摩西说，求你和我们说话，我们必听；但不要神和我们说话，免得我们死亡。
- 20:20 And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid; for God has come in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him may be before you, so that you do not sin.
-
摩西对百姓说，不要惧怕；因为神来临是要试验你们，又叫你们时常敬畏祂，不至犯罪。
- 20:21 And the people stood at a distance, and Moses drew near to the deep darkness where God was.
-
于是百姓远远的站着，摩西就挨近神所在的幽暗。
- 20:22 And Jehovah said to Moses, Thus shall you say to the children of Israel, You yourselves have seen that I have spoken to you from heaven.
-
耶和华对摩西说，你要向以色列人这样说，你们自己看见我从天上和你们说话了。
- 20:23 You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves.
-
你们不可作什么神像与我相配，不可为自己制造银或金的神像。
- 20:24 An altar of earth you shall make for Me, and shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen; in every place where I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and bless you.
-
你要为我筑土坛，在上面献牛羊为燔祭和平安祭；在我使人记念我名的各地方，我必到你那里赐福给你。
- 20:25 And if you make Me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stones; for if you lift up your tool upon it, you have polluted it.
-
你若为我筑石坛，不可用凿成的石头，因你在上头一动刀斧，就把坛污秽了。
- 20:26 Neither shall you go up by steps to My altar, so that your nakedness may not be uncovered on it.
-
你上我的坛，不可用台阶，免得在上头露出你的下体。
