- 31:1 Then Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
-
耶和华对摩西说，
- 31:2 Thoroughly avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites; afterward you will be gathered to your people.
-
你要在米甸人身上报以色列人的仇，然后归到你本民那里。
- 31:3 And Moses spoke to the people, saying, Arm men from among you for the war, that they may come upon Midian to execute Jehovah's vengeance on Midian.
-
摩西对百姓说，要从你们中间叫人带兵器出去打仗，攻击米甸，好在米甸人身上为耶和华报仇。
- 31:4 A thousand from each tribe, of all the tribes of Israel, you shall send to the war.
-
从以色列众支派中，每支派要打发一千人去打仗。
- 31:5 So out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand for each tribe were committed, twelve thousand armed for war.
-
于是从以色列千万人中，每支派交出一千人，共一万二千人，带着兵器预备打仗。
- 31:6 And Moses sent them, a thousand for each tribe, to the war, and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest with them, to the war, with the vessels of the sanctuary and the trumpets for the alarm in his hand.

摩西就打发每支派的一千人去打仗，并打发祭司以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈同去；非尼哈手里拿着圣所的器皿和吹大声的号筒。
- 31:7 And they warred against Midian, just as Jehovah had commanded Moses; and they killed every male.
-
他们就照耶和华所吩咐摩西的，与米甸人打仗，杀了所有的男丁。
- 31:8 And they killed the kings of Midian in addition to the others slain among them: Evi and Rekem and Zur and Hur and Reba, the five kings of Midian; also Balaam the son of Beor they slew with the sword.
-
在所杀的人以外，还杀了米甸的五王，就是以未、利金、苏珥、户珥、利巴，又用刀杀了比珥的儿子巴兰。
- 31:9 And the children of Israel took captive the women of Midian and their little ones, and all their cattle and all their livestock and all their goods they plundered.
-
以色列人掳了米甸人的妇女孩子，掠夺了他们所有的牲畜、羊群和财物，
- 31:10 And all their cities in which they had settled and all their encampments, they burned with fire.
-
又用火焚烧他们所住的城邑和所有的营寨，
- 31:11 And they took all the spoil and all the booty, both of man and of beast.
-
把一切所掠的、所获的，连人带牲畜都带了去，
- 31:12 And they brought the captives and the booty and the spoil to Moses and to Eleazar the priest and to the assembly of the children of Israel, to the camp in the plains of Moab, which was beside the Jordan at Jericho.
-
将所掳的人，并所获、所掠的牲畜、财物，都带到摩押平原，在约但河边与耶利哥相对的营盘，交给摩西和祭司以利亚撒，并以色列人的会众。
- 31:13 And Moses and Eleazar the priest and all the leaders of the assembly went out to meet them outside the camp.
-
摩西和祭司以利亚撒，并会众一切的首领，都出到营外迎接他们。
- 31:14 And Moses became angry with the officers of the company, the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds, who came from service in the war.
-
摩西向打仗回来的军长，就是千夫长、百夫长，发怒，
- 31:15 And Moses said to them, Have you kept all the women alive?
-
对他们说，你们要让这一切妇女存活么？
- 31:16 It was these who caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to act unfaithfully against Jehovah in the matter of Peor, so that the plague came upon the assembly of Jehovah.
-
这些妇女因巴兰的计谋，叫以色列人在毗珥的事上，对耶和华行事不忠实，以致瘟疫临到耶和华的会众。
- 31:17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known a man by lying with him.
-
所以，你们要把一切的男孩和所有已嫁的女子都杀了。
- 31:18 But all the little ones among the women, who have not known a male by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.
-
但女孩子中，凡没有出嫁的，可以让她们存活，归给你们。
- 31:19 And you, encamp outside the camp seven days, everyone who has killed any person and everyone who has touched any slain; purify yourselves on the third day and on the seventh day, you and your captives.
-
你们要在营外驻扎七日；凡杀了人的，和一切触了被杀的，并你们所掳来的人口，都要在第三日和第七日洁净自己；
- 31:20 And you shall purify for yourselves every garment and every article of skin and everything made of goats' hair and every article of wood.
-
也要为自己洁净一切的衣服、皮物、山羊毛织的物、和各样的木器。
- 31:21 And Eleazar the priest said to the men of war who had gone to the battle, This is the statute of the law which Jehovah has commanded Moses:
-
祭司以利亚撒对打仗回来的兵丁说，耶和华所吩咐摩西律法中的律例乃是这样：
- 31:22 Only the gold and the silver, the bronze, the iron, the tin, and the lead,
-
金、银、铜、铁、锡、铅，
- 31:23 Everything that can go into the fire, you shall pass through the fire, and it will become clean; but it shall be purified with the water for impurity; and everything that cannot go into the fire you shall pass through the water.
-
凡能见火的，你们要叫它经火，就洁净了，然而还要用除污秽的水洁净它；凡不能见火的，你们要叫它过水。
- 31:24 And you shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and you shall be clean; and afterward you may come into the camp.
-
第七日，你们要洗衣服，就为洁净，然后可以进营。
- 31:25 Then Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
-
耶和华对摩西说，
- 31:26 You and Eleazar the priest and the heads of the fathers' households of the assembly, take the sum of the booty that was captured, both of man and of beast,
-
你和祭司以利亚撒，并会众各宗族的族长，要计算所掳获的人口和牲畜的总数；
- 31:27 And halve the booty between those skilled in war who went out to battle and the whole assembly.
-
把所获的分作两半，一半归与出去打仗的精兵，一半归与全会众。
- 31:28 And levy a tribute to Jehovah from the men of war who went out to battle: one living thing out of five hundred, of the persons and of the cattle and of the donkeys and of the flock;
-
又要从出去打仗的兵丁所得的人口、牛、驴、羊群中，每五百取一，作为贡物奉给耶和华；
- 31:29 Take it from their half and give it to Eleazar the priest, for Jehovah's heave offering.
-
从他们所得的这一半之中，取出来交给祭司以利亚撒，作为耶和华的举祭。
- 31:30 And of the children of Israel's half, you shall take one seized out of fifty, of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the flocks, from all the beasts, and give them to the Levites, who keep the charge of the tabernacle of Jehovah.
-
从以色列人所得的那一半之中，就是从人口、牛、驴、羊群、各样牲畜中，每五十取一，交给看守耶和华帐幕的利未人。
- 31:31 And Moses and Eleazar the priest did just as Jehovah commanded Moses.
-
于是摩西和祭司以利亚撒照耶和华所吩咐摩西的行了。
- 31:32 Now the booty that was left from the spoil which the men of war took was six hundred seventy-five thousand sheep,
-
兵丁所获的，就是他们所掠得、还留存的，有羊六十七万五千只，
- 31:33 And seventy-two thousand cattle,
-
牛七万二千只，
- 31:34 And sixty-one thousand donkeys,
-
驴六万一千匹，
- 31:35 And thirty-two thousand persons in all, the women who had not known lying with a male.
-
女人共三万二千口，都是没有出嫁的。
- 31:36 And the half, which was the portion of those who went out to war, was in number three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep.
-
出去打仗之人的分，就是他们所得的那一半，共计羊三十三万七千五百只，
- 31:37 And Jehovah's tribute of the sheep was six hundred seventy-five.
-
从其中归耶和华为贡物的，有六百七十五只；
- 31:38 And the cattle were thirty-six thousand, of which Jehovah's tribute was seventy-two.
-
牛三万六千只，从其中归耶和华为贡物的，有七十二只；
- 31:39 And the donkeys were thirty thousand five hundred, of which Jehovah's tribute was sixty-one.
-
驴三万零五百匹，从其中归耶和华为贡物的，有六十一匹；
- 31:40 And the human beings were sixteen thousand, of whom Jehovah's tribute was thirty-two persons.
-
人一万六千口，从其中归耶和华为贡物的，有三十二口。
- 31:41 And Moses gave the tribute, Jehovah's heave offering, to Eleazar the priest, just as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
-
摩西把贡物，就是耶和华的举祭，交给祭司以利亚撒，是照耶和华所吩咐摩西的。
- 31:42 And of the children of Israel's half, which Moses had separated from the men who had gone to war -
-
以色列人所得的那一半，就是摩西从打仗的人取来分给他们的，
- 31:43 That is, the assembly's half was three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep,
-
(会众所得的那一半，有羊三十三万七千五百只，
- 31:44 And thirty-six thousand cattle,
-
牛三万六千只，
- 31:45 And thirty thousand five hundred donkeys,
-
驴三万零五百匹，
- 31:46 And sixteen thousand persons -
-
人一万六千口，)
- 31:47 Now Moses took from the children of Israel's half, one drawn out of every fifty, both of man and of beast, and gave them to the Levites, who kept the charge of the tabernacle of Jehovah, just as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
-
从以色列人所得的那一半之中，无论是人口或是牲畜，摩西每五十取一，交给看守耶和华帐幕的利未人，正如耶和华所吩咐摩西的。
- 31:48 And the officers who were over the thousands of the army, the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds, approached Moses.
-
统领千军的各军长，就是千夫长、百夫长，都近前来见摩西，
- 31:49 And they said to Moses, Your servants have taken the sum of the men of war who are under our charge, and not a man is missing from us;
-
对他说，仆人权下的兵已经计算总数，并不短少一人。
- 31:50 And we have presented Jehovah's offering, what every man has obtained, articles of gold, armlets and bracelets, signet rings, earrings and pendants, to make expiation for our souls before Jehovah.
-
如今我们将各人所得的金器，就是臂环、手镯、打印的戒指、耳环、项链，都送来为耶和华的供物，好在耶和华面前为我们的性命遮罪。
- 31:51 And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold from them, all kinds of wrought articles.
-
摩西和祭司以利亚撒就从他们收了金子，都是各样打成的物件。
- 31:52 And all the gold of the heave offering which they offered up to Jehovah, from the captains of thousands and from the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred fifty shekels.
-
千夫长、百夫长所献给耶和华为举祭的金子，共有一万六千七百五十舍客勒。
- 31:53 The men of war had taken booty, each for himself.
-
各兵丁都为自己获得了财物。
- 31:54 So Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold from the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the Tent of Meeting as a memorial for the children of Israel before Jehovah.
-
摩西和祭司以利亚撒从千夫长、百夫长收了金子，就带进会幕，在耶和华面前作为以色列人的记念。
