- 1:1 And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and Jehovah his God was with him and magnified him exceedingly.

大卫的儿子所罗门国位坚固;耶和华他的神与他同在,使他甚为尊大。
- 1:2 And Solomon spoke to all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds and to the judges and to every leader of all Israel, the heads of the fathers' houses.

所罗门吩咐以色列众人,就是千夫长、百夫长、审判官、以及全以色列所有作宗族首领的领袖都来。
- 1:3 And Solomon and all the assembly with him went up to the high place that was in Gibeon, for the Tent of Meeting of God was there, which Moses the servant of Jehovah had made in the wilderness.

所罗门带同全会众往基遍的邱坛去,因那里有神的会幕,就是耶和华仆人摩西在旷野所制造的。
- 1:4 However David had brought up the Ark of God from Kiriath-jearim to the place that David had prepared for it, for he had pitched a tent for it in Jerusalem.

只是神的约柜,大卫已经从基列耶琳运上去,到他为约柜所预备的地方,因他曾在耶路撒冷为约柜支搭了帐幕。
- 1:5 And the bronze altar that Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made was there before the tabernacle of Jehovah, and Solomon and the assembly inquired at it.

户珥的孙子,乌利的儿子比撒列所造的铜坛,也在基遍耶和华的会幕前;所罗门和会众都在坛前求问。
- 1:6 And Solomon went up there before Jehovah to the bronze altar, which was at the Tent of Meeting, and he offered upon it one thousand burnt offerings.

所罗门上到耶和华面前会幕的铜坛那里,在坛上献一千燔祭牲。
- 1:7 During that night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, Ask what I should give you.

当夜,神向所罗门显现,对他说,我当赐给你什么?你可以求。
- 1:8 And Solomon said to God, You have shown great lovingkindness to David my father and have made me king in his place.

所罗门对神说,你曾向我父亲大卫大施恩慈,使我接续他作王。
- 1:9 And now, O Jehovah God, may Your promise to David my father be fulfilled, for You have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth.

耶和华神阿,现在求你使你向我父亲大卫所说的话得以实现;因你立我作这民的王,他们如同地上的尘沙那样多。
- 1:10 Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?

求你赐我智慧和知识,我好在这民前出入;不然,谁能审断你这众多的民呢?
- 1:11 Then God said to Solomon, Because this is on your heart and you have not asked for riches, wealth, or honor, nor for the life of those who hate you, nor have you even asked for long life, but have asked for wisdom and knowledge for yourself so that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king;

神对所罗门说,你心里既有此意,并不求财富、资产、尊荣,也不求灭绝那恨你之人的性命,又不求长寿,只为自己求智慧和知识,好审断我的民,就是我立你作王来治理的;
- 1:12 Wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and riches and wealth and honor I will give you, such as no kings who were before you have had, nor any after you will have.

我必赐你智慧和知识,也必赐你财富、资产、尊荣,在你以前的列王都没有这样,在你以后的也必没有这样。
- 1:13 Then Solomon came to Jerusalemfrom the high place that was in Gibeon, from the Tent of Meeting; and he reigned over Israel.

于是,所罗门从基遍的邱坛,从会幕前回到耶路撒冷,治理以色列。
- 1:14 And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen together; and he had one thousand four hundred chariots and twelve thousand horsemen, which he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king at Jerusalem.

所罗门聚集战车马兵,有战车一千四百辆,马兵一万二千名,安置在屯车城,并在耶路撒冷,与王在一起。
- 1:15 And the king caused silver and gold to be as plentiful as stones in Jerusalem; and cedars, like the sycamores that are in the lowlands.

王在耶路撒冷使金银多如石头,香柏木多如低陆的桑树。
- 1:16 And the horses that Solomon had came from Egypt and from Kue; the king's traders bought them from Kue at a fixed price.

所罗门的马出自埃及和古厄,是王的商人从古厄按着定价买来的。
- 1:17 And they could import from Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver and a horse for one hundred fifty shekels, and thus they brought them out to all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Syria by their own means.

他们从埃及买来的车,每辆价银六百舍客勒,马每匹一百五十舍客勒;赫人诸王和亚兰诸王所买的车马,也是这样经他们手带出来的。
