• 5:1　Thus all the work that Solomon did for the house of Jehovah was finished. And Solomon brought in the things that David his father had sanctified, even the silver and the gold and all the vessels, and he put them in the treasuries of the house of God.
  • 这样，所罗门为耶和华殿所作的一切工完成了。所罗门把他父亲大卫分别为圣之物，就是银子、金子和器具，都带来放在神殿的府库里。
  • 5:2　Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers' houses of the children of Israel, to Jerusalem in order to bring up the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah from the city of David, which is Zion.
  • 那时，所罗门将以色列的长老们和各支派的首领，就是以色列人宗族的首领，招聚到耶路撒冷，要把耶和华的约柜从大卫城，就是锡安，运上来。
  • 5:3　And all the men of Israel assembled themselves before the king at the feast, which is in the seventh month.
  • 于是以色列众人在七月节期前，都聚集到王那里。
  • 5:4　And when all the elders of Israel came, the Levites took up the Ark.
  • 以色列的众长老来到，利未人便抬起约柜。
  • 5:5　And they brought up the Ark and the Tent of Meeting and all the holy vessels that were in the Tent; the priests and Levites brought them up.
  • 他们将约柜、会幕、和会幕里的一切圣器具都运上来，是祭司和利未人将这一切运上来的。
  • 5:6　And King Solomon and all the assembly of Israel, who had assembled before him before the Ark, were sacrificing sheep and oxen which could not be counted or numbered for multitude.
  • 所罗门王和聚集到他那里的以色列全会众，都在约柜前献牛羊为祭，多得无法计算，无法数点。
  • 5:7　And the priests brought the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah to its place, into the innermost sanctuary of the house, into the Holy of Holies under the wings of the cherubim.
  • 祭司将耶和华的约柜抬进所预备的地方，就是圣殿的内殿，也就是至圣所，放在两个基路伯的翅膀底下。
  • 5:8　And the cherubim spread out their wings over the place of the Ark, and the cherubim covered the Ark and its poles overhead.
  • 基路伯张着翅膀在约柜所在之处以上，遮掩约柜和抬柜的杠。
  • 5:9　And the poles extended out, so that the ends of the poles could be seen coming out from the Ark before the innermost sanctuary, but they were not seen outside; and they are there to this day.
  • 这两根杠甚长，从约柜伸出的杠头，在内殿前可以看见，在殿外却不能看见，直到今日还在那里。
  • 5:10　There was nothing in the Ark except the two tablets, which Moses put there at Horeb when Jehovah made a covenant with the children of Israel when they came out of Egypt.
  • 约柜里只有两块石版，就是以色列人出埃及后，耶和华与他们立约的时候，摩西在何烈山所放的；除此以外，并无别物。
  • 5:11　And when the priests came out of the Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves without regard to their divisions),
  • 当时在那里所有的祭司，不分班次，都将自己分别为圣；祭司从圣所出来的时候，
  • 5:12　All the Levitical singers, Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their sons and their brothers clothed in fine linen, with cymbals and with harps and lyres, were standing east of the altar; and one hundred twenty priests who blew the trumpets were with them.
  • 全体歌唱的利未人，亚萨、希幔、耶杜顿、和他们的众子、并众弟兄，都穿细麻布衣服，站在坛的东边，敲钹、鼓瑟、弹琴；有一百二十个吹号的祭司和他们在一起。
  • 5:13　And when the trumpeters and the singers were one to make themselves heard with one voice in praising and in giving thanks to Jehovah, and when they lifted up their voice with trumpets and with cymbals and with musical instruments in praise to Jehovah, saying, For He is good, for His lovingkindness is forever; then the house, the house of Jehovah, was filled with a cloud.
  • 吹号的、歌唱的都一齐发声，声合为一，赞美感谢耶和华；他们吹号、敲钹，用各种乐器，扬声赞美耶和华说，耶和华本为善，祂的慈爱永远长存；那时，有云充满那殿，就是耶和华的殿。
  • 5:14　And the priests were not able to stand and minister because of the cloud, for the glory of Jehovah filled the house of God.
  • 因着那云的缘故，祭司不能站立供职，因为耶和华的荣光充满了神的殿。
