- 18:1 And Jehovah appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre as he was sitting at the entrance of his tent in the heat of the day.

耶和华在幔利橡树那里向亚伯拉罕显现。那时天正热，亚伯拉罕坐在帐棚口。
- 18:2 And he lifted up his eyes and looked, and there were three men standing opposite him. And when he saw them, he ran from the entrance of the tent to meet them. And he bowed down to the earth
-
他举目观看，见有三个人在对面站着。他一看见，就从帐棚口跑去迎接他们，俯伏在地，
- 18:3 And said, My Lord, if I have found favor in Your sight, please do not pass on from Your servant.
-
说，我主，我若在你眼前蒙恩，求你不要离开仆人往前去。
- 18:4 Please let a little water be fetched, and do wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree.
-
让我拿点水来，你们洗洗脚，在树下歇息歇息。
- 18:5 And let me fetch a morsel of bread that you may sustain yourselves. After that you may pass on, since you have come to your servant. So they said, Do as you have said.
-
我再拿一点饼来，你们可以加添心力，然后往前去。你们既到仆人这里来，理当如此。他们说，就照你说的行罢。
- 18:6 And Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah and said, Quickly prepare three measures of fine flour, knead it, and make cakes.

亚伯拉罕急忙进帐棚见撒拉，说，你快快拿三细亚细面调和作饼。
- 18:7 And Abraham ran to the herd and took a calf, tender and good, and gave it to the servant, and he hurried to prepare it.
-
亚伯拉罕又跑到牛群里，牵了一只又嫩又好的牛犊来，交给仆人，仆人急忙预备好了。
- 18:8 And he took curds and milk and the calf which he had prepared, and set them before them; and he stood by them under the tree while they ate.
-
亚伯拉罕又取了奶酪和奶，并预备好的牛犊来，摆在他们面前，自己在树下站在旁边，他们就吃了。
- 18:9 And they said to him, Where is Sarah your wife? And he said, There, in the tent.
-
他们问亚伯拉罕说，你妻子撒拉在那里？他说，在帐棚里。
- 18:10 And He said, I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and then Sarah your wife shall have a son. And Sarah was listening at the entrance of the tent, which was behind Him.
-
其中一位说，到明年这时候，我必回到你这里；你的妻子撒拉必生一个儿子。撒拉在那位后边的帐棚口也听见了这话。
- 18:11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old and advanced in age; it had ceased to be with Sarah according to the manner of women.
-
亚伯拉罕和撒拉年纪老迈，撒拉的月经已经停了。
- 18:12 And Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I have become old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
-
撒拉心里暗笑，说，我既已衰败，我主也老迈，岂能有这乐趣呢？
- 18:13 And Jehovah said to Abraham, Why did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I indeed bear a child, when I am old?
-
耶和华对亚伯拉罕说，撒拉为什么笑，说，我既年迈，果真能生孩子么？
- 18:14 Is anything too marvelous for Jehovah? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
-
耶和华岂有难成的事么？到了约定的日期，明年这时候，我必回到你这里，撒拉必生一个儿子。
- 18:15 Then Sarah denied it, saying, I did not laugh; for she was afraid. And He said, No, but you did laugh.
-
撒拉就害怕，不承认，说，我没有笑；那位说，不然，你实在笑了。
- 18:16 And the men rose up from there and looked down upon Sodom; and Abraham walked with them to send them away.
-
三人就从那里起身，向所多玛观望；亚伯拉罕也与他们同行，要送他们一程。
- 18:17 And Jehovah said, Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,
-
耶和华说，我所要作的事，岂可瞒着亚伯拉罕么？
- 18:18 Since Abraham will indeed become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him?
-
亚伯拉罕必要成为又大又强的国，并且地上的万国都必因他得福。
- 18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him to keep the way of Jehovah by doing righteousness and justice, that Jehovah may bring upon Abraham what He has spoken concerning him.
-
我眷顾他，为要叫他吩咐他的子孙和他以后的家属，遵守我耶和华的道，秉行公义和公理，使我论到亚伯拉罕的话，都成就在他身上。
- 18:20 And Jehovah said, The cry of Sodom and Gomorrah, how great it is; and their sin, how very heavy it is!

耶和华说，所多玛和蛾摩拉的罪甚重，声闻于我。
- 18:21 I shall go down and see whether they have done altogether according to its outcry, which has come to Me; and if not, I will know.
-
我现在要下去，察看他们所行的，果然尽像那达到我耳中的声音么？若是不然，我也会知道。
- 18:22 And the men turned from there and went toward Sodom, while Abraham remained standing before Jehovah.
-
二人转身离开那里，向所多玛走去；但亚伯拉罕仍旧站在耶和华面前。
- 18:23 And Abraham came near and said, Will You indeed destroy the righteous with the wicked?
-
亚伯拉罕近前来，说，你真的要将义人与恶人一并剿灭么？
- 18:24 Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city; will You indeed destroy and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous who are in it?
-
假若那城里有五十个义人，你还剿灭么？不为城里这五十个义人宽容那地方么？
- 18:25 Far be it from You to do such a thing, to put to death the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked. Far be it from You! Shall the Judge of all the earth not do justly?
-
你断不至将义人与恶人同杀，将义人与恶人一样看待；这断不是你所行的。审判全地的主岂不公平行事么？
- 18:26 And Jehovah said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the whole place for their sake.
-
耶和华说，我若在所多玛城里见有五十个义人，我就要为他们的缘故宽容那地方。
- 18:27 And Abraham answered and said, Now behold, I have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord, though I am but dust and ashes.
-
亚伯拉罕回答说，我虽然是尘土炉灰，还敢对主说话。
- 18:28 Suppose the fifty righteous are lacking five, will You destroy the whole city because of five? And He said, I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.
-
假若这五十个义人缺了五个，你就因为缺了五个毁灭全城么？祂说，我在那里若见有四十五个，也不毁灭那城。
- 18:29 And he spoke to Him yet again and said, Suppose forty are found there? And He said, I will not do it because of forty.
-
亚伯拉罕又对祂说，假若在那里见有四十个怎么样？祂说，为这四十个的缘故，我也不作这事。
- 18:30 And he said, Oh may the Lord not be angry if I speak. Suppose thirty are found there? And He said, I will not do it if I find thirty there.
-
亚伯拉罕说，求主不要动怒，容我说，假若在那里见有三十个怎么样？祂说，我在那里若见有三十个，我也不作这事。
- 18:31 And he said, Now behold, I have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord. Suppose twenty are found there? And He said, I will not destroy it because of twenty.

亚伯拉罕说，我还敢对主说话，假若在那里见有二十个怎么样？祂说，为这二十个的缘故，我也不毁灭那城。
- 18:32 And he said, Oh let the Lord not be angry if I speak yet once more. Suppose ten are found there? And He said, I will not destroy it because of ten.
-
亚伯拉罕说，求主不要动怒，容我再说这一次，假若在那里见有十个呢？祂说，为这十个的缘故，我也不毁灭那城。
- 18:33 And Jehovah went away as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham, and Abraham returned to his place.
-
耶和华与亚伯拉罕说完了话就走了；亚伯拉罕也回到自己的地方去了。
