- 30:1 And when Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister and said to Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

拉结见自己没有给雅各生孩子，就嫉妒她姐姐，对雅各说，你给我孩子，不然我就死了。
- 30:2 And Jacob's anger burned against Rachel, and he said, Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?

雅各向拉结生气，说，叫你不怀胎的是神，我岂能代替祂作主呢？拉结说，
- 30:3 And she said, Here is my servant Bilhah; go in to her, that she may bear upon my knees and that I also may have children through her.
-
有我的使女辟拉在这里，你可以与她同房，使她生子抱在我膝上，我便因她也得孩子。
- 30:4 And she gave him Bilhah her female servant as a wife, and Jacob went in to her.

拉结就把她的使女辟拉给丈夫为妻，雅各便与她同房。
- 30:5 And Bilhah conceived and bore Jacob a son.

辟拉就怀孕，给雅各生了一个儿子。
- 30:6 And Rachel said, God has judged me, and has also heard my voice and given me a son; therefore she called his name Dan.

拉结说，神伸了我的冤，也听了我的声音，赐我一个儿子，因此给他起名叫但。
- 30:7 And Bilhah Rachel's female servant conceived again and bore Jacob a second son.

拉结的使女辟拉又怀孕，给雅各生了第二个儿子。
- 30:8 And Rachel said, In wrestling with God, I have wrestled with my sister and have prevailed; so she called his name Naphtali.

拉结说，我在与神的角力中，与我姐姐角力，并且得了胜，于是给孩子起名叫拿弗他利。
- 30:9 Now when Leah saw that she ceased bearing, she took Zilpah her female servant and gave her to Jacob as a wife.

利亚见自己停了生育，就把她的使女悉帕给雅各为妻。
- 30:10 And Zilpah Leah's female servant bore Jacob a son.

利亚的使女悉帕给雅各生了一个儿子。
- 30:11 And Leah said, How fortunate! So she called his name Gad.

利亚说，万幸。于是给他起名叫迦得。
- 30:12 And Zilpah Leah's female servant bore Jacob a second son.
-
利亚的使女悉帕又给雅各生了第二个儿子。
- 30:13 And Leah said, Happy am I! For the daughters will call me blessed; so she called his name Asher.
-
利亚说，我真快乐，众女子都要称我为有福，于是给孩子起名叫亚设。
- 30:14 And Reuben went out in the days of wheat harvest and found mandrakes in the field and brought them to his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Please give me some of your son's mandrakes.

收割麦子的时候，流便出去，在田里寻见风茄，就拿来给他母亲利亚。拉结对利亚说，请你把你儿子的风茄给我一些。
- 30:15 And she said to her, Is it a small matter that you have taken away my husband? And would you take away my son's mandrakes also? So Rachel said, Then he may lie with you tonight in return for your son's mandrakes.

利亚说，你夺了我的丈夫还算小事么？你又要夺我儿子的风茄？拉结说，那么，为了交换你儿子的风茄，今夜他可以与你同寝。
- 30:16 And Jacob came from the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him and said, You must come in to me, for I have surely hired you with my son's mandrakes. So he lay with her that night.

到了晚上，雅各从田里回来，利亚出来迎接他，说，你要与我同寝，因为我实在是用我儿子的风茄把你雇下了。那一夜，雅各就与她同寝。
- 30:17 And God gave heed to Leah, and she conceived and bore Jacob a fifth son.

神垂听了利亚，她就怀孕，给雅各生了第五个儿子。
- 30:18 And Leah said, God has given me my hire, because I gave my female servant to my husband; so she called his name Issachar.
-
利亚说，神给了我工价，因为我把使女给了我丈夫，于是给孩子起名叫以萨迦。
- 30:19 And Leah conceived again and bore a sixth son to Jacob.
-
利亚又怀孕，给雅各生了第六个儿子。
- 30:20 And Leah said, God has endowed me with a good dowry; now my husband will dwell with me, because I have borne him six sons; so she called his name Zebulun.
-
利亚说，神赐我厚礼；这次我丈夫必与我同住，因为我给他生了六个儿子，于是给孩子起名叫西布伦。
- 30:21 And afterward she bore a daughter and called her name Dinah.
-
后来又生了一个女儿，给她起名叫底拿。
- 30:22 Then God remembered Rachel, and God gave heed to her and opened her womb.

神记念拉结，垂听了她，使她能生育。
- 30:23 And she conceived and bore a son and said, God has taken away my reproach.
-
拉结怀孕生子，说，神除去了我的羞辱，
- 30:24 And she called his name Joseph, saying, May Jehovah add to me another son.
-
就给他起名叫约瑟，说，愿耶和华再给我增添一个儿子。
- 30:25 And when Rachel had borne Joseph, Jacob said to Laban, Send me away, that I may go to my own place and to my own country.
-
拉结生约瑟之后，雅各对拉班说，请打发我走，叫我回到我本乡本地去。
- 30:26 Give me my wives and my children for whom I have served you, that I may go; for you indeed know my service by which I have served you.
-
请你把我服事你所得的妻子和儿女给我，让我走；我怎样服事你，你都知道。
- 30:27 And Laban said to him, If you please, I have divined that Jehovah has blessed me on account of you.
-
拉班对他说，我若在你眼前蒙恩，请你仍与我同住，因为我已算定，耶和华赐福与我是因你的缘故；
- 30:28 And he said, Name me your wages, and I will give it.
-
又说，请你指明你的工价，我就给你。
- 30:29 And Jacob said to him, You indeed know how I have served you, and how your livestock have fared with me.
-
雅各对他说，我怎样服事你，你的牲口在我手里怎样，你是知道的。
- 30:30 For you had little before I came, and it has spread into a multitude, and Jehovah has blessed you wherever I turned. But now when shall I provide for my own house also?
-
我未来之前，你所有的很少，现今却发达增多，耶和华随我的脚步赐福与你。如今，我什么时候也为自己的家作些事呢？
- 30:31 And he said, What shall I give you? And Jacob said, You shall not give me anything. Just do this one thing for me: Let me again feed your flock and keep it.
-
拉班说，我当给你什么？雅各说，你什么也不必给我；只要你为我作这一件事，我便仍旧牧放看守你的羊群。
- 30:32 Let me pass through all your flock today, removing from there every speckled and spotted animal, that is, every black animal among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats; and such will be my wages.

今天我要走遍你的羊群，把其中凡有点的、有斑的，就是绵羊中黑色的，并山羊中有斑的、有点的，都挑出来；将来这一等的就算是我的工价。
- 30:33 So my righteousness will testify for me later, when you come concerning my wages, by what is before you. Every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats and black among the sheep, if found with me, will be counted stolen.

以后你来查看我的工价，凡在我手里的山羊不是有点有斑的，绵羊不是黑色的，那就算是我偷的；这样便可证出我的公义。
- 30:34 And Laban said, Fine; let it be according to your word.
-
拉班说，好阿，就照着你的话行罢。
- 30:35 But on that day he removed the male goats that were streaked and spotted, and all the female goats that were speckled and spotted, every one that had white in it, and all the black ones among the sheep, and gave them into the care of his sons;
-
当日，拉班把有纹的、有斑的公山羊，有点的、有斑的母山羊，就是凡杂有白色的山羊，并黑色的绵羊，都挑出来，交在他儿子们的手下，
- 30:36 And he set a distance of a three days' journey between himself and Jacob, and Jacob fed the rest of Laban's flocks.

又使自己和雅各相离三天的路程；雅各就牧养拉班其余的羊。
- 30:37 And Jacob took rods of fresh poplar and almond and plane trees and peeled white stripes in them, exposing the white which was in the rods.
-
雅各拿杨树、杏树、枫树的嫩枝，将皮剥成白纹，使枝子露出白的来；
- 30:38 And he set the rods which he had peeled in front of the flocks in the troughs, that is, in the watering places where the flocks came to drink; and they bred when they came to drink.
-
他将剥了皮的枝子，对着羊群，插在羊群喝水的水槽里；羊来喝水的时候，公母交配。
- 30:39 And the flocks bred before the rods; and the flocks brought forth young that were streaked, speckled, and spotted.
-
羊对着枝子交配，就生下有纹的、有点的、有斑的来。
- 30:40 And Jacob separated the lambs and set the faces of the flock toward the streaked and all the black in the flock of Laban, and he put his own herds apart and did not put them with Laban's flock.
-
雅各把羊羔分出来，使拉班的羊与这有纹和黑色的羊相对，把自己的羊另放一处，不叫他的羊和拉班的羊混杂。
- 30:41 And whenever the stronger of the flock were breeding, Jacob placed the rods before the eyes of the flock in the troughs so that they might breed among the rods;

当羊群中肥壮的交配的时候，雅各就把枝子插在水槽里，正在羊群的眼前，使羊对着枝子交配。
- 30:42 But when the flock was feebler, he did not put them in; so the feebler were Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's.
-
只是在羊群瘦弱的时候，就不插枝子。这样，瘦弱的就归拉班，肥壮的就归雅各。
- 30:43 And the man became spread out exceedingly, and had large flocks, and female servants and male servants, and camels and donkeys.
-
于是雅各极其发达，得了许多的羊群、仆人、婢女、骆驼和驴。
