- 19:1 Thus says Jehovah, Go and buy a potter's earthenware jar, and take some of the elders of the people and some of the elders of the priests;

耶和华如此说，你去买窑匠的瓦瓶，又带百姓中的长老，和祭司中的长老，
- 19:2 And go out to the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is at the entrance of the Potsherd Gate, and proclaim there the words which I will speak to you,
-
出去到哈珥西门口欣嫩子谷那里，宣告我要对你说的话，
- 19:3 And say, Hear the word of Jehovah, O kings of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, Thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, I am about to bring evil upon this place, at which the ears of everyone who hears of it will tingle;

说，犹大君王和耶路撒冷的居民哪，当听耶和华的话；万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说，我必使灾祸临到这地方，凡听见的人都必耳鸣；
- 19:4 Because they have forsaken Me and have estranged this place from Me and have burned incense in it to other gods, which neither they nor their fathers nor the kings of Judah knew, and they have filled this place with the blood of the innocent,

因为他们离弃我，使这地方疏远我，在这里向他们和他们列祖并犹大君王素不认识的别神烧香，又使这地方满了无辜人的血；
- 19:5 And they have built the high places of Baal to burn their children in the fire as burnt offerings to Baal, which I did not command or speak, nor did it come up in My heart.

又建筑巴力的邱坛，好在火中焚烧自己的儿子，作为燔祭献给巴力，这不是我所吩咐的，不是我所题说的，也不是我心里所想的。
- 19:6 Therefore indeed, days are coming, declares Jehovah, when this place will no longer be called Topheth, or the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter.

耶和华说，因此，日子将到，这地方不再称为陀斐特或欣嫩子谷，反倒称为杀戮谷。
- 19:7 And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place, and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies and by the hand of those who seek their life, and I will give their corpses to the birds of heaven and to the beasts of the earth for food.

我必在这地方，使犹大和耶路撒冷的计谋落空，也必使他们在仇敌面前倒于刀下，并寻索其命的人手下；我必将他们的尸首给空中的飞鸟，和地上的野兽作食物。
- 19:8 And I will make this city an astonishment and a hissing; everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss at all its wounds.

我必使这城令人惊骇嗤笑；凡经过的人，必因这城所遭的一切伤损，惊骇嗤笑。
- 19:9 And I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and each one will eat his neighbor's flesh in the siege and in the distress with which their enemies and those who seek their life distress them.

我必使他们在围困窘迫之中，就是仇敌和寻索其命的人窘迫他们的时候，各人吃自己儿女的肉，和邻舍的肉。
- 19:10 And you shall break the jar in the sight of the men who go with you.

你要在同去的人眼前，打碎那瓶，
- 19:11 And you shall say to them, Thus says Jehovah of hosts, So I will break this people and this city in the same way as one breaks the potter's vessel so that it cannot be repaired any more, and they will bury in Topheth because there will be no other place to bury.

对他们说，万军之耶和华如此说，我要照样打碎这民和这城，正如人打碎窑匠的瓦器，以致不能再修补；并且人要在陀斐特葬埋尸首，因无别处可葬。
- 19:12 Thus I will deal with this place, declares Jehovah, and with its inhabitants, so as to make this city like Topheth.

耶和华说，我必向这地方和其中的居民如此行，使这城与陀斐特一样。
- 19:13 And the houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah will be like the place Topheth, defiled because of all the houses upon whose roofs they have burnt incense to all the host of heaven and poured out drink offerings to other gods.

耶路撒冷的房屋和犹大君王的宫殿，都必与陀斐特这地方一样，是被玷污的，因为他们在其一切屋顶上向天上的万象烧香，向别神浇奠祭。
- 19:14 Then Jeremiah came from Topheth, where Jehovah had sent him to prophesy, and stood in the court of the house of Jehovah and said to all the people,

耶利米从陀斐特，就是耶和华差他去说预言的地方，回来站在耶和华殿的院中，对众人说，
- 19:15 Thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, I am about to bring to this city and upon all its cities all the evil that I have spoken against it because they have stiffened their neck so as not to hear My words.

万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说，我必使我对这城所说的一切灾祸临到这城，和属这城的一切城邑，因为他们硬着颈项，不听我的话。
